UNIQLO introduced its upgraded HEATTECH collection and a new collaboration line with a French designer.

In 1998, its fleece products brought the UNIQLO boom throughout the country, and then they made a big hit with HEATTECH in 2007. Now UNIQLO Japan grow into the nation's largest apparel retail chain - 844 stores in Japan and a total of 767 stores in China, Korea, Singapore, U.S., England, France, and other Asia and European countries.
Their store in Ginza, Tokyo became one of the hotspots for tourists from overseas.

Let's check out their new collections for 2015!

HEATTECH

The first HEATTECH came out in 2003, and approximately 300 million units were sold over ten years. What's so great about HEATTECH?
The fabric absorbs body moisture, and the movement of tiny droplets generates heat to keep you warm. And it does not end there. UNIQLO has developed to weave camellia oil into fabrics to make them feel soft and smooth.

This fall, the upgraded fabric is adapted into not only women's line, but also men's and children's. UNIQLO announced to produce a total of 320 styles of "HEATTECH Collection" - from a pair of socks (¥190~) to jeans (¥4,990~).

You can also buy its design collaboration series with popular French lingerie "Princesse tam.tam" and Walt Disney. HEATTECH transform winter from a cold, heavy clothes season to a warm, lightweight dress season.

UNIQLO ✖ Lemaire

UNIQLO has been collaborated with other brands - "+J" with a German disigner Jil Sander and "UU" with Japanese street fashion UNDERCOVER - and creasted a new line with a French fashion icon Inès de la Fressange. This winter, their official press release states that the retailer will produce a collection with a French designer Christphe Lemaire.

Lemaire took up his role as the artistic director of Hermès womenswear from 2011 to 2015. And now he is focused exclusively on his own label: Lemaire.
"UNIQLO and Lemarie have come togather to offer timeless elegance to everyday essentials that are made of the most cafelly selected materials."
It's available from ¥2,990~.

YUKATA (Summer Kimono) Collection

UNIQLO started producing Yukata (summer kimono) for women and girls this summer. It's a thin light garment worn for sleeping, for wearing in the summer or for bathing. They use traditional patterns and classic color for a design. Women's Yukata is ¥5,990, and girl's Yukata is ¥4,990. These Yukata are really resonable, so you can buy not only for yourself, but also for your family and friends as a gift.

UNIQLO is a casual apparel chain, which adapts the latest technology into fashion and create stylish lines with designers and creators. Check out their new items when you come to Japan!
