Japan's rugby national team returns home

Rugby fans have welcomed Japan's national team back home from World Cup competition in England. The squad finished the first-round tournament with 3 wins and one loss.

Despite not advancing to the quarterfinals, Japan pulled off victories from 2-time champion South Africa, and beat Samoa and the United States as well.

The team arrived at Tokyo's Haneda Airport on Tuesday afternoon.

About 500 fans cheered when captain Michael Leitch, head coach Eddie Jones, full-back Ayumu Goro-maru and other players appeared in the arrival lobby. The team members smiled and waved.
