The number of visitors to the observation deck of Abeno Harukas, the tallest skyscraper in Japan, has reached surpassed 5 million, thanks to increased foreign tourists, the operator of the building said.

The milestone was reached on Friday, about two years and three months after the 300-meter-tall building in Osaka was opened by Kintetsu Corp in March 2014.
Visitor numbers hit 1 million in July 2014 and 3 million in May 2015.
