Setsubun Tsuina Ceremony at Ikegami Honmonji Temple

Over 10,000 visitors celebrate the Setsubun ritual at Ikegami Honmonji Temple.

Ikegami Honmonji Temple will hold the Setsubun ceremony. Setsubun is a special ritual to cleanse away all the evil of the former year and drive away disease-bringing evil spirits for the coming year to practice mamemaki, bean scattering. Over 10,000 people enjoyed this ritual last year.
