Portable shrines are carried in the darkness!

Darkness Festival at Okunitama Jinja Shrine is known for one of three major festivals in Kanto region. The festival starts in the morning, but the highlight of the event (carrying portable shrines) will begin when it gets dark in the last two days. Over 700,000 people visited Fuchu City to see this festival last year.
