Bunkyo Azalea (Tsutsuji) Festival at Nezu Jinja Shrine

Enjoy a beautiful 3,000 azalea garden and events.

Bunkyo Azalea Festival (Tsutsuji Matsuri) will be held from early April to early May at Nezu Jinja Shrine. During the Fair you can enjoy approximately 3,000 azaleas of 100 species in a garden, an antique fair, many festive stalls and portable shrines (Mikoshi). Visitors are also allowed to enter the shrine's main building (a National Important Cultural Asset), statues and paintings that are not usually presented to the public.
