According to the legend, golden dragon will appear at Sensoji Temple.

Every year Asakusa's Sensoji Temple holds the Golden Dragon Dance Festival. According to the legend, 1000 pine trees suddenly appeared overnight near the temple on March 18th, and a golden dragon descended into the pine trees from the heavens. The doragon dance is based on this story. The dragon is 18 meters high and 88 Kg, and it's operated by 8 people.
