Celebrating Buddha's Birthday at Asakusa's historic temple.

April 8th is Buddha's birthday, and Asakusa's Sensoji Temple holds "Hana Matsuri (Flower Festival)" on the day to celebrate it. White elephant, which is a symbol of fertility and knowledge, parades the temple, and tea and flower will be served to welcome visitors. Prayers pour hydrangea tea on a Buddha statue to celebrate his birth.
